The main exhibitions will be located in the building of the Youth Projects Center. This was discussed at a meeting of the city’s Public Chamber. The project will reflect the events that took place in Ugra in the 20th century: collectivization, industrialization, participation in the Great Patriotic War, development of the first oil fields.
Famous scientists, musicians, and social activists whose lives and activities are connected with Siberia will not be left without attention. The exhibitions will include hundreds of pieces of multimedia equipment, interactive programs and decorations. Residents and guests of the capital of Ugra, visiting the park, will be able to find answers to many historical questions and form a correct understanding of the past of Khanty-Mansiysk, the district and the state.
The decision to implement the project was made by the Head of the municipality, Maxim Ryashin, together with the Managing Director of the Humanitarian Projects Foundation, Ivan Yesin. They plan to create a historical park with the support of the Governor and the Government. It will be another step towards the implementation of a global goal – obtaining the status of a humanitarian science city for the capital of the district.
Let us add that multimedia historical parks operate in many regions of Russia.
In Ugra, the first multimedia complex was opened in 2019 in Surgut. It is one of the five largest parks in Russia. Its opening ceremony was timed to coincide with the 89th anniversary of the formation of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
It was previously reported that the equipment in the historical park “Russia is my history” in Surgut is being updated.
