An update has occurred in the program of the Platonov Festival: a performance based on Andrei Platonov’s play “The Voice of the Father” (16+) will be shown in Voronezh.
The production will be shown on the small stage of the A. Koltsov Drama Theater on June 19 and 20 at 18.00. It will be presented by the troupe of the Moscow theater “At the Nikitsky Gates”.
The production by Mark Rozovsky will tell about how important it is to maintain the connection between generations and times. No matter how banal it may sound, but without the past, there is neither present nor future. In this case, the main character, remembering his father, reveals intimate connections with the world.
Mark Rozovsky makes Platonov’s thought tangible on stage, as experts who have already seen the production say. This is the thought of the continuation of life after death, the need to remember this and rise above vanity, becoming part of the eternal.
“Observer.Vrn” wrote that it had previously become known: spectators will not be able to visit screening of “Macbeth” from the Theater of Nations at the Platonov Festival in 2024.
