Ulyanovsk April 24. INTERFAX – The Ulyanovsk region plans to solve the problem of defrauded shareholders by 2025, said the region’s governor, Alexey Russkikh.

“I set the goal that in 2025 such a phenomenon as defrauded shareholders will become a thing of the past in our Ulyanovsk region,” Russkikh said, speaking on Wednesday with a report on the government’s activities for 2023.

This year, funds for the restoration of the rights of participants in shared construction are provided in the regional budget in full.

The head of the region noted that since 2021, 21 long-term construction projects have been put into operation. Last year, the rights of participants in the shared construction of three apartment buildings were restored. More than 1.3 thousand shareholders have had their rights restored.

Currently, work is underway on the remaining eight problematic houses. Four of them are being completed and will be put into operation.

“This year, 628 defrauded shareholders will receive the keys to apartments. We have also achieved compensation payments. Through this mechanism, the problem is being solved for 4 houses of bankrupt developers. This is more than one and a half thousand people,” Russkikh said.
