According to the governor, all work is going exactly according to schedule. It is assumed that four-lane traffic will be organized here with an estimated speed of 120 kilometers per hour. This is the most important facility not only for the transport infrastructure of the region, but also for the entire country. Traffic through the facility is planned to start in 2024.
The design of the giant bridge itself is different from all those already existing in the country. This is a difficult location – the depth of the Volga is more than 35 meters. Often the builders were hampered by weather conditions – November storms struck and work had to be temporarily suspended.
Active road repairs have also begun in the Samara region. For example, in the capital of the region, Chernorechenskaya Street is being repaired. The road network is being repaired in the area from Vladimirskaya Street to Sportivnaya Street. The total length is 0.82 km. It is expected that after the completion of the improvement, traffic along Chernorechenskaya Street will become more intense.
