In Rostov, engineers created a combat robot-crodile named “Gena”

In Rostov-on-Don, engineers created a combat crocodile robot nicknamed “Gena”. Gazeta.Ru writes more about the invention with reference to the press service of the international championship “Battle of Robots 2024”.

The Gena inflicts damage using metal cutters located on the nose. During rotation, the cutters reach high speed and are capable of causing damage to an opponent during a fight.

Rostov engineers have already tested the combat power of “Gena”. The robot can easily handle the trash can. The attack is accompanied by sparks, after which marks are left on the urn at the point of contact with the cutter.

In 2024, Robot Battle will begin in the summer. The robots participating in the competition will be divided into two categories: in one there will be machines weighing up to 110 kg, and in the other – up to 1.5 kg.
