On Wednesday, April 24, Governor Dmitry Azarov congratulated and awarded the winners of the regional creative festival “Samara Student Spring – 2024”. It traditionally united talented and creative youth from all over the region. The results were summed up at a gala concert at the MTL Arena, which included the best performances.

“I am very glad that in our Samara region Student Spring is always held on a large scale, – the head of the region noted, addressing students, teachers and rectors of universities in the region. – It is not surprising that Student Spring is held on such a large scale in the Samara region. It was here, on Samara land, that the Student Spring movement was born. Without a doubt, this is a reason to be proud. I’m very glad that these traditions are passed on from generation to generation.” .

This year, from March 27 to April 12, 16 concerts were held, in which about 3,000 students from 16 universities in the region took part. Also, from April 5 to April 17, competition days were held in 7 areas of the Festival: “Dance”, “Music”, “Theater”, “Original Genre”, “Media”, “Video”, “Art”. Representatives of 18 universities in the Samara region showed their creative performances.

“I am very glad that today you have the opportunity to realize yourself in study, science, work and creativity. Russia is a country of opportunities. It is no coincidence that this is the name of the Presidential Platform, which allows all residents of the country, and especially young people, to realize themselves in life, take part in various competitions and competitions, become a winner and receive additional support for further education and improvement of their competencies“, – Dmitry Azarov emphasized.

The Governor recalled the decision of the President of the country Vladimir Putin about the launch of new national projects, which he announced during the announcement of the Address to the Federal Assembly. Among them is the national project “Youth of Russia”. Its content, among others, will be discussed at a meeting of the State Council in the near future. “I need your ideas! I would very much like to receive proposals from student groups of all universities and colleges that we will include in the new national project. But there will definitely be new measures to support youth and young families, and of course, assistance in self-realization, so that every person in our country feels in demand, feels that he can prove himself, no matter what business he chooses, he serves our Motherland, our great and beautiful Russia“, – Dmitry Azarov addressed the students and teaching staff with a request.

At the end of the festival, 109 creative acts and talented students became laureates, and 90 diploma winners. The head of the region presented awards to the winners of the 2024 Student Spring. The first place was taken by SSEU, silver went to Samara State University of Transport, and SSPU and Samara Korolev University shared third place on the podium. Based on the results of the Festival, a team from the Samara region will be formed to participate in the All-Russian Festival in Saratov.

“Our Samara State Economic University won 16 victories in the regional Student Spring. We wish our native university never to give up on anything.“, – noted the winners.

“I am sure, my dears, that everything will work out for you. There are new victories ahead on all fronts and directions. And the cohesion that exists today both in the student community and in our country as a whole suggests that our country will overcome everything and will definitely win. So it was and so it will be in the future“, – Dmitry Azarov emphasized.
