The peninsula is the most affordable Black Sea destination: prices for tours to Crimea are now 20–25% lower than to the Krasnodar Territory. And not only for the May holidays, but also for the summer season, ATOR reports.
– Accommodation prices in Crimea have not increased compared to last year, which means that for the third season in Crimea it is possible to book hotels at 2022 prices. In May, Crimea is 20% cheaper than Anapa and 25% cheaper than Sochi, said ATOR Vice President for Domestic Tourism, General Director of the Dolphin tour operator. Sergey Romashkin.
At the same time, the Krasnodar region remains the most popular destination among Russians for the May holidays and summer. From May to August, the region plans to welcome 11.5 million tourists. 90% of hotels are already booked. Anapa alone, according to the most conservative estimates, will receive 3.5-4 million. Sochi is going to receive more than 4.6 million vacationers during the high season, and 360 thousand tourists during the May holidays.
