In St. Petersburg, transport information on 5,052 pieces of equipment was updated in the first quarter. Another 6,256 structures were cleared of unauthorized announcements and graffiti, and 438 were repaired, the press service of the Transport Committee reported, citing data from the Transportation Organizer State Public Institution.
In total, more than 7,867 pieces of information equipment are located at stopping points of ground urban passenger transport. Including over 2,350 stop signs, 43 electronic stop signs, about 3,732 information stands of various formats, more than 1,745 ISO pylons, racks and electronic modules, 25 electronic pylons, 12 EIZO, 2 electronic light posters and 4 liquid crystal displays in Pulkovo.
It is noted that all information media are an important element of urban navigation. Their damage is direct damage to the city budget, and vandalism threatens the violator with administrative and criminal liability.
