Sevastopol police conduct raids to identify illegal migrants. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol.
Law enforcement officers inspected two places of compact residence of foreigners engaged in labor activities at construction sites in our city. It was established that more than 150 people were accommodated in the residential premises of two hostels, mainly citizens of the Central Asian republics.
Police officers checked the builders’ documents giving them the right to stay on the territory of the Russian Federation and carry out work activities, and also verified the data against the information records of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Dog handlers examined all hotel premises for the presence of items prohibited for civilian circulation.
During the raid, police identified six foreigners who violated the regime of stay in the Russian Federation. All of them were brought to administrative responsibility.
