A traffic police car hit a 19-year-old young man who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing on April 24 in the Krasnooktyabrsky district of Volgograd.

A traffic accident involving a State Traffic Inspectorate vehicle occurred at 17:20. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd Region, the driver was driving along Lermontov Street and hit a 19-year-old Volgograd resident who was rapidly moving along a pedestrian crossing. The guy was taken to the hospital.

— The leadership of the regional Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate and an investigative team are working at the scene of the incident. A set of measures and investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, the department reported.

Let us remind you that today a guy in Volzhsky drove into a pedestrian crossing on an electric scooter and paid severely for violating the basic rules of the road. The accident occurred on April 23 at an unregulated pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Druzhba and 40 Let Pobeda streets. Two people on electric scooters appear by the road, one slows down, and the other drives straight into the zebra crossing – right under the wheels of the car.
