The guest beat the owner of the house to death in the village of Volya, Novousmansky district, the regional Sledkom reported.
The incident occurred on April 15. A 38-year-old local resident came to visit his 58-year-old friend. The men were drinking together when a conflict broke out between them. A younger participant in the quarrel grabbed a stick and beat an acquaintance with it; the enraged man also plunged a knife into the thigh of the owner of the house, and stabbed his hands with a fork. The victim died from his injuries.
Employees of the Investigative Committee detained the aggressor and opened a criminal case under the article on intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, which resulted in the death of a person (Part 4 of Article 111). The accused is in a pre-trial detention center, he admitted his guilt. The defendant faces up to 15 years in prison.
Earlier, a 25-year-old man stabbed to death his father-in-law, who stood up for his daughter.
