According to the investigation, on April 17, 2024, in the evening, the suspect, while passing through customs control at the international automobile checkpoint in the Pytalovsky district, tried to bribe a customs officer for permission to enter the territory of the Russian Federation in a car he was driving with cargo whose weight exceeded the permissible load. on the car axle. However, the official refused to accept the bribe, and the driver was detained.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed.
