A plant for the production of painkillers will be built in the Bryansk region

Earlier, Bryansk News reported that the region plans to build a full-cycle plant for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Today, April 24, Bogomaz in his Telegram channel recalled the emergence of a painkillers plant.

The production of analgesics in the region became possible thanks to a pilot project for growing opium poppy, which is used in medicines.

In the Bryansk region, 500 hectares of poppy were sown for the first time in 2022, the yield of which was 98 tons. In 2023, more than 700 thousand kg were received from 2 thousand hectares. TASS reports this.
