A 13-year-old boy died in one of the schools in Tatarsk, Novosibirsk region. The child became ill after volleyball practice. He was urgently hospitalized, but could not be saved.
Local residents reported the incident. According to them, the boy fell into a coma after physical education classes. The child died in a medical facility. According to KP-Novosibirsk, the school confirmed the death of the student.
Investigators became involved in the situation. They are conducting a criminal procedural investigation.
“The site has been inspected, a set of measures is being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident,” the Investigative Committee’s Investigative Directorate for the region reported.
The department confirmed that the child died in the hospital. The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
Earlier in Novosibirsk, a child was admitted to intensive care due to lily of the valley poisoning.
