The citywide cleanup in St. Petersburg was postponed to May 18. The City Improvement Headquarters made this decision due to an unfavorable weather forecast, Fontanka writes.

At the same time, according to the Federal State Budgetary Institution North-West UGMS, cloudy weather with clearings is expected in the next three days, the daytime temperature will fluctuate from +6 to +13 degrees. Precipitation may include light rain.

Initially, the cleanup day was scheduled for April 20. However, since snow fell in the city on April 19, the level of which reached 11 centimeters, it has been postponed to April 27.

Let us remind you that last year the cleanup took place on April 29. Almost 217 thousand citizens took part in it. They tidied up a territory with a total area of ​​14 million square meters, planted 813 trees, 4,533 shrubs and 11,844 viola flowers.
