On April 24, the All-Russian event “St. George’s Ribbon” started in the Tver region. Let us remind you that it is held on the eve of Victory Day. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
“During the event, the St. George Ribbon became one of the main symbols of the unity, courage and valor of our Russian people. In our time, the St. George Ribbon personifies the support of our soldiers who worthily and successfully solve the assigned tasks of destroying Nazism as part of a special military operation. Our country is a country of heroes, justice, open and honest relations in society,” the governor noted.
Thus, in Tver, at the Smolensk mass grave, public activists, administration representatives, schoolchildren, students, youth members, military academy cadets, as well as residents took part in the event in honor of the start of the action. It will take place until May 9 in all municipalities. These days, young people will distribute ribbons on the streets, rallies and ceremonial processions.
