Sasovets, suspected of distributing synthetic drugs, was detained in Ryazan
Operatives of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Ryazan region detained a Sasovite suspected of organizing illegal drug trafficking. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Ryazan region reported this on April 23.
The man was detained in Ryazan on Molodtsova Street. They found a homemade package containing a powdery substance in his possession. Several more similar containers were seized from earlier caches.
The examination found that the packages contained more than 21 grams of a synthetic drug.
According to preliminary information, a 27-year-old resident of Sasovo distributed drugs via the Internet through bookmarks. To do this, he picked up a container of drugs in the capital region and put them into small packages. After this he was detained.
An investigator from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs department for the Moskovsky district of Ryazan opened a criminal case against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This is an attempt to illegally sell drugs on a large scale. The article provides for up to 20 years in prison.
