In Kalach-on-Don today, April 24, an accident occurred at a water supply facility. As Oksana Cheredinina, senior assistant prosecutor of the Volgograd region, reported to V102.RU, the emergency happened at the Kalachevsk pumping station.
To eliminate the emergency situation, the supply of utilities was suspended in 144 apartment buildings and a number of social facilities.
– Measures are being taken to provide the population with alternative sources of water supply. Repair work continues around the clock. The situation continues to be under the control of the prosecutor’s office until the violation is actually eliminated.y,” explained the representative of the supervisory authority.
