Historical memory and continuity of generations, as well as the unity of the peoples of Russia. The priority of the spiritual over the material, humanism, mercy, justice.
Against the background of the destruction by the West of such concepts as family, faith, patriotism, Russia is positioning itself as a safe haven, an “ark” for all supporters of traditional values throughout the planet. And I think that in the coming years, many of those who do not accept the abolition of the concepts of “mom” and “dad” will take advantage of this opportunity.

We have long been accustomed to the fact that many migrant workers work in our country. However, today people are increasingly moving to us not only to earn money, but because they were forced to leave their seemingly civilized states due to the decline of moral principles in their society.
These are people who in Russia felt freedom from the so-called “European values” based on unipolar tolerance, LGBT people and the destruction of the “family institution.” Most likely, every year there will be more and more such foreigners. Indeed, in modern Europe and America, the authorities have created unbearable living conditions for citizens who want to live according to the laws of nature.
Our state is already creating conditions for the relocation of Western businesses and traditional families to Russia.
National security issue
Let us recall that in 2022, Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the preservation and strengthening of traditional spiritual and moral values.” The document clarifies that the preservation of traditional values is part of strategic planning and national security.
The document explains how countries, corporations and other threats can undermine our traditional values. In short, they are beginning to replace ours with their values. This gives rise to selfishness, a sense of permissiveness, propaganda of non-traditional relationships and “denial of Russia’s positive contribution to world history.”
During a traditional press conference in December 2023, Vladimir Putin said that many people in European countries and the United States believe that Russia is doing everything right. The President noted that our country is not afraid to fight for its national interests without encroaching on others. He added that there are now a huge number of supporters in the world for the protection of traditional values, and their number is increasing.
At the end of last year, Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova said that Russia is ready to become a “Noah’s Ark” for the world with a traditional, normal society in which there is no place for Western values.
“We just realized that this is probably the last historical chance, I’m not afraid of this word, for civilization, for humanity, not to lose all that accumulated that our ancestors have accumulated for thousands of years… Now I’m not just talking about the SVO. I’m also talking about our figures – social, cultural, artistic. Who stood up, just really stood up in the face of this destructive evil,” said the diplomat.
In July 2023, the Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov noted that in the modern world Russia is the “Noah’s Ark” of the 21st century, where there is no place for the ideology of Nazism and genocide, or the imposition of dubious Western “standards and rules of life.”
“The information struggle launched by the West during the special military operation is only an aggravation of the confrontation that has lasted throughout Russian history,” – said Boris Gryzlov.
Spiritual degradation of the West
Among the main values of the so-called “golden billion” today are the most comfortable existence, hedonism, and sensual pleasures. Depersonalization occurs, where the ideal member of society is a sexless and non-reasoning individual who is only interested in consuming goods and services in ever-increasing volumes.
In the Western community, since the 1980-1990s, a “reverse selection” of politicians began – in the so-called elite educational institutions, the main goal, instead of providing a high-level education, was to create a special category of the establishment, to put it mildly, not marked with the stamp of intelligence and high moral qualities.
In the 2000s and 1900s, figures of this particular category moved to the top positions in European and American politics. To complete the picture, all countries of the world were divided into “autocracies” (traditional) and “developed democracies” (supposedly progressive). A so-called protective mechanism was created for the Atlanticists, who were able to use NATO, the EU and even the UN to achieve their goals – disunity and subjugation of countries that fall within the prism of their interests.
World continent of adequacy
At the “Territory of Meanings” forum in August last year, the head of the department of the Russian Presidential Administration for ensuring the activities of the State Council, Alexander Kharichev, noted that Russia in the modern world stands for respect for its own development models.
“Russia is one of the centers of the world order, creating a strategic balance of civilizations: East and West, North and South. This is the “ark of humanity”, which preserves natural resources and environmental heritage of global significance, cultural and historical traditions and spiritual and moral values, without which there is no future,” – said Alexander Kharichev.
According to him, Russia is an example of a multicultural society, where the opportunities for the unique development of each people are combined with the strong unity of the entire country, as well as the stronghold of a stable international system based on respect for national interests and sovereignty.
The head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Evgeny Primakov, speaking in January 2024 at a round table in the Federation Council on the role of Russia in the global humanitarian space, noted that our country is a continent of adequacy in the world.
“Respect for family, faith in God, service to the Fatherland, mutual assistance, incredible harmony in interfaith and interethnic relations that we have – thanks to these values, Russia is gradually beginning to be perceived in the world as a kind of ark, as a continent of adequacy. Today, people who have lost the “modernist headache” are coming to us today. They want to connect their lives with Russia”,” emphasized Evgeny Primakov.
