At the moment, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, participants in the special operation are exempt from paying interest on loans that accrue during the credit holiday period.

Borrowers whose average monthly income has fallen by 30% compared to the previous year are also entitled to such a benefit.

According to the State Duma deputy from the Chelyabinsk region Yana Lantratova , this regime should be extended to large families. The parliamentarian sent a letter with the corresponding initiative to the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin .

According to the deputy’s idea, families that had large families at the start of the credit holiday or became so during the operation of this regime will be exempt from paying interest on the loan, which accrues during the holiday period.

In addition, after the end of the credit holiday regime, the obligations of this category of citizens to pay these interests will cease.

This will support families with children, as well as improve the demographic climate in Russia» ,” Lantratova noted in conclusion.
