The general manager of the Cosmos Murmansk Hotel, Nord-News columnist Andrei Milokhin was awarded a certificate of honor from the head of the municipality of the city of Murmansk.

Murmansk Mayor Igor Morar presented gratitude for many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, and personal contribution to the socio-economic development of the city.

– I have always wanted and still want to work for the benefit of the development of the city and tourism. I consider myself a sincere patriot of Murmansk and sincerely want no one to have any doubts that Murmansk is the capital of the Arctic and the Mecca of Arctic tourism. I also want Murmansk to be the best city beyond the Arctic Circle! – Andrei Milokhin said in an interview NordNews.

Andrei Milokhin was born on April 24, 1962. In 1985 he graduated from the Murmansk State Pedagogical Institute, after which he worked as a history teacher at school No. 2 in the village of Umba, and since 1988 as a teacher at the Murmansk Regional Palace of Pioneers (later – the regional Palace of Creativity “Lapland”). In 1995, he came to work at the Polyarnye Zori Hotel (now Cosmos Murmansk Hotel). Worked his way up from sales and marketing manager to general manager. Andrey Milokhin was awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Murmansk Regional Duma and the Governor’s Cup “For high professionalism in the hotel business.”
