Orenburg resident Igor Dudenko rescued more than ten dogs from flood zones and gave shelter to one of them. Unfortunately, their owners are in no hurry to look for pets left in trouble.
The story of Igor Dudenko was told by the publication “KP in Orenburg”. A well-known blogger and musician in Orenburg is raising funds to help an animal shelter. During the flood, a resident of one of the SNT approached him and asked him to save her dog. He agreed, although he had never sat in a boat before in his life.
– It was scary. The area is unknown. But I managed to find a guy with a watercraft, and together we went to save the pet,” said Igor Dudenko.
An Orenburg resident swam to the woman’s house and saw the pet standing in a cage up to its neck in water. The owner did not have time to take it with her during the evacuation. When he approached the house, the dog growled and did not allow Igor to open the door. Only after 15 minutes they managed to put him on the ship.
Igor Dudenko has saved dozens of dogs over the past two weeks. He continues to travel to SNT to rescue animals from trouble. On his blog he constantly reports about found pets, but, unfortunately, no one responds.
One day, the musician saw an evacuated woman in a boat. The Orenburg woman was holding a microwave in her hands, and asked Igor to rescue her two cats from the house. He was outraged that inexpensive household appliances turned out to be more valuable to humans than living beings.
Let us remember that during the flood, volunteers often had to rescue dogs abandoned by people. Some of them were tied, which could have killed the pets.
