Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Krasnov recalled the tragedy in the Bryansk gymnasium in the Federation Council

Previously, Bryansk News reported that on December 7, 2024, a tragedy occurred at gymnasium No. 5 in Bryansk. A student came to school with a gun and opened fire on her classmates. As a result, two people died and five were injured.

Speaking at the Federation Council, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov called for normative mechanisms for resolving conflicts in schools after this situation. He emphasized that the safety of children depends on early resolution of conflicts and expressed concern about insufficient measures to prevent such incidents.

“Prosecutors have revealed facts of teachers hushing up cases of bullying of students by peers and even committing crimes against them,” emphasized Igor Krasnov.

As TASS reports, citing the words of the Prosecutor General, it is necessary to transfer the resolution of conflicts in schools to an imperative level. The Prosecutor General’s Office is ready to join this work.
