Volunteers of the Vologda PSO “Lisa Alert” spoke about the search for a website developer from Komi, who had been homeless for a week in Cherepovets. At the end of February PSO “Lisa Alert“We received an information about the search for 33-year-old Vladimir Kozlov, who ended up in Cherepovets and disappeared without a trace. The Vologda news portal tells how his search was organized.

It was seven long days and nights. We will not know exactly what trials Vladimir had to go through. We know only part of the events that we were able to learn through the testimony and work of autonomous groups. Gathering information bit by bit, we literally followed in his footsteps“- says search coordinator Olga (Krapiva).

It is not reported what exactly happened to Vladimir, but an ambulance was called for him, he wandered around the city, spent the night in hallways, and went into shops. Why he didn’t ask for help and where his things went, in particular his laptop, is unknown.

“…we managed to find information about an unknown patient in the hospital. He was suitable in age. The volunteer went to the hospital to check, but by that time the patient had left – the medical worker gave him money for a ticket home. From the survey it became clear that, most likely, this not our missing person – not all the signs matched,” the volunteers said.”Lisa Alert“.

An organized search in a city where they are looking for a specific person who has neither relatives nor friends to whom he could go is a difficult matter, even though both police officers and the EDDS were involved, but luck smiled on the search engines and Vladimir was found.

In the entrances of different houses, the guys found objects indicating that Vladimir had spent the night here and there. It worries me that we have not yet found a single lead for February 24 and 25, and today is already the 26th. Around 10 am one of the most valuable evidence comes: literally 20 minutes ago our missing person was in Magnite is across the street from the station. I am urgently sending a search group there. The wonderful store team was imbued with the situation and showed us the camera footage. I send the photo to the relatives and they confirm that it is Vladimir. There is no limit to joy: now we know for sure that he is alive! A call from a senior search group: a man who was in the store on video came into one of the entrances. I send them for testing, but I stop breathing. After a couple of minutes, the long-awaited message comes: “We found it!” – this is how the volunteers ended up with a good ending to the search.”Lisa Alert“in Cherepovets.

Then Vladimir was urgently sent to Syktyvkar.
