St. Petersburg Zenit remains the favorite to win the Russian Championship, despite the defeat from Kazan Rubin, ex-footballer of Moscow Spartak Eduard Mor said on Match TV.
On Wednesday, the championship-leading Zenit lost at home to Rubin (0:2) in the match of the postponed 21st round of the WORLD RPL. In a parallel match, Krasnodar beat Baltika (3:2). Now the advantage of the “blue-white-blue” over the “bulls” in the table is one point.
— Zenit has a rather complicated calendar. But I think for them the more difficult it is, the easier it is to win. This makes it easier for them to tune in to the game and seek motivation.
Zenit is the favorite in the championship race. “Krasnodar scores goals, but also concedes and will continue to concede,” Mor said in the “Everyone for the Match!” program.
