Residents of the city turned to the head of the region, Dmitry Azarov, during a live broadcast with a question about the operating hours of a new sports facility – a swimming pool, built in the Kuibyshevsky district of the regional center.

The essence of the issue is that at the moment access to the long-awaited water for a wide range of the population is limited – only organized groups are engaged in it, athletes are being trained.

The governor demanded an answer from the head of Samara, Elena Lapushkina, who explained that certain restrictions were caused by the need to complete the installation of a video surveillance system in the building. This is required by anti-terrorist security rules, which is especially important in the current period.

– Training for organized groups of children in the pool is already taking place in a regular format. Access for citizens with subscriptions will open on May 4, explained Elena Lapushkina.
