A representative of the Inzhavinsky district prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 25-year-old citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan, who was found guilty of attempted murder.
During the court hearing, it was proven that on December 7 last year, a quarrel occurred between the convict and the victim, also a citizen of a foreign state, as a result of which the convict stabbed his opponent multiple times. However, he was unable to complete his criminal actions, since the victim had already received medical assistance.
Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced the perpetrator to six years and six months of imprisonment to be served in a maximum security correctional colony.
The court’s verdict did not enter into legal force.
Earlier it was reported that a 50-year-old native of Udmurtia would appear in court in Tambov. He is accused of murder, threat to kill and unauthorized leaving of a person’s place of residence by a supervised person.
