Mobile dentistry units were sent from Chelyabinsk to the front

On behalf of the governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexei Teksler, an unusual humanitarian cargo was sent to the front – mobile dentistry units developed and produced in Miass. During a meeting dedicated to the second anniversary of the activities of the Headquarters for Humanitarian Cooperation of United Russia, Alexey Teksler showed these complexes to the participants via teleconference. Mobile dental offices are manufactured on the basis of the Ural Next chassis. Inside, you can conduct dental examinations and treat teeth in difficult conditions of life at the front. The head of the region emphasized that these machines are unique.

— The Chelyabinsk region is a center of special mechanical engineering. We took on this task with great pleasure and responsibility. I know that the guys on the front line identified this need. The first two vehicles have been completed and will now go to military units. These offices can work completely autonomously, on the front line. They consist of several compartments: a patient reception room, a dental office itself, equipped with modern equipment and consumables, an X-ray machine, a technical unit with a generator, and a sanitary room. Our doctors have tested this machine, it will also be in demand for civilian purposes,” noted Alexey Teksler.

The development of the South Urals team was also appreciated at the federal level. First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Andrei Turchak thanked Alexey Teksler for the unusual equipment that is so necessary for military personnel.

– You were able to realize this idea, although I know that the hard work of certification was completed. This vehicle is ready for mass production, for delivery to the troops, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, and to regions with hard-to-reach areas. The military is looking forward to this equipment,” Andrei Turchak addressed the governor.

The importance of mobile dentistry is difficult to overestimate. Doctors confirm that in a combat zone, existing dental problems may worsen and new ones may arise.

“Our guys are sitting there in the trenches in the damp, in the cold. Hypothermia can cause aggravation, it is better to avoid such situations so that at least they do not have problems with their teeth, explains Vitaly Lemeshchuk, a dentist from Nyazepetrovsk.

The head of the region, Alexey Teksler, also recalled that the Chelyabinsk region provides all necessary assistance to the army.

— A lot has been done during this time. A special military camp was built on the basis of one of our units, the equipment of the district military hospital was completely overhauled and the equipment was updated, new buildings of military commissariats were updated and transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Defense. Direct assistance is provided to our military units. These are about 40 military units with which we have established constant contact, to which we transfer the necessary equipment, copters, everything that our soldiers will need on the front line,” the governor said.

At the meeting, the results of the two-year activities of the headquarters were summed up: since the beginning of the North Military District, United Russia has collected and delivered more than 110 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to new regions. More than 13 billion rubles were collected and used to purchase the necessary equipment and equipment for fighters.
