The prosecutor’s office of the Ulyanovsk region reported that, on behalf of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, the housing rights of 76 orphans were restored in our region.

The Prosecutor General held a personal reception in Ulyanovsk, which was attended by a girl who, at the age of 11, was left without parental care. She was included in the list of people in need of housing from a specialized state housing stock. When the girl turned 18, she was not given an apartment.

In August 2022, the court granted the claim against the regional Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities and Construction demanding that the orphan be provided with housing.

− Taking into account that this fact is not isolated, as part of an integrated approach, based on the results of the inspection, the prosecutor’s office made representations to the head of the regional Office of the FSSP of Russia, as well as to the executive authorities of the region, − commented at the prosecutor’s office.

As a result, 300 million rubles were allocated from the regional treasury to buy housing for 76 orphans. Among them was a girl who attended a reception with Igor Krasnov. Children raised without parents were provided with comfortable apartments or payments to purchase housing.
