In the Lipetsk region, a billion rubles have been allocated for the repair of worn-out communications in high-rise buildings | LIPETSKNEWS

The regional budget co-finances the overhaul of engineering systems in apartment buildings. At the regular 38th session of the regional parliament, deputies decided to allocate 1 billion rubles for the implementation of the overhaul program.

“The funds will be used to update networks in those houses where they are in critical condition,” explained the Federal Financial Institution of the Lipetsk Region.

The final list will be formed based on proposals from local governments. It will include houses located both in Lipetsk and in the regions. The main selection criterion is the unsatisfactory technical condition of the networks.

“Within the framework of the regional program, major repairs of utility networks are a priority type of work. Thanks to regional support, we will be able to increase by a quarter the list of houses whose residents will be able to appreciate the updated communications this year,” commented Alexey Kostin, head of the Lipetsk Region FKR.

Let us note that without taking into account the additional support received, this year in the Lipetsk region it is planned to overhaul 248 apartment buildings. Construction and installation work is taking place in 86 high-rise buildings, and in 47 of them certain types of work have already been completed.
