The “General Cleaning” project continues in the regional center. At a citywide cleanup event held on April 20, some of the areas were put in order, but cleanliness continues. On April 27, those who did not have time to work with rakes and shovels can join utility workers and city hall employees. In the Dzerzhinsky district, the 30th Anniversary of the Victory Park and the boulevard on Uritskogo will be put in order. In Zavolzhsky there is Tveritskaya embankment and the square on Mashinostroiteley. In the Central districts, Yaroslavl residents are welcome in the 1000th anniversary park, Podzelenie and the square of the 950th anniversary of Yaroslavl. In Frunzensky and Krasnoperekopsky – in Victory Park on Lipovaya and near the Church of John the Baptist. All these territories were previously landscaped under the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national priority “Housing and Urban Environment”, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Volunteers will be located at these same geolocations. Yaroslavl residents will be able to vote for future improvement projects.

Nikolay Stepanov, Deputy Mayor of Yaroslavl for housing and communal services and improvement:

“Voting will continue. Each participant in the cleanup can vote. who hasn’t done this yet. To date, more than 80 thousand Yaroslavl residents have voted. But this is not the limit. The more votes we get. the more funds will be allocated for improvement next year.”
