The historical construction of the century is nearing completion in New Chersonesos

The sense of time disappears on this gigantic construction site. It seems as if the majestic buildings, capable of withstanding the strongest earthquakes, reinforced concrete structures, lined with architectural and artistic concrete, are the plywood sets of some epic film about Byzantium.

New Chersonesos – this is how this city in the city was named: in Sevastopol, Voenstroi specialists are building a huge historical and archaeological park, where an area of ​​more than 24 thousand square meters will accommodate three large modern museums, a recreation park for citizens, a quarter-reconstruction of the ancient city, youth and tourist centers, an open-air temple park, an ancient theater and much more.

The project of the historical and archaeological park is being implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin by the My History Foundation under the direct supervision of Metropolitan Tikhon (Shevkunov) of Simferopol and Crimea.

The overall design of the facades and interiors was developed by the Sretensky architectural workshops under the leadership of the famous architect, author of the main temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Kubinka, Dmitry Smirnov.

The largest and most important Russian museums, such as the Moscow Kremlin, the Historical Museum, the Rublev Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum, promised their assistance in replenishing the exhibition range of the Museum of Christianity.

The complex is expected to open this year. In total, the construction of such a grandiose facility lasted about two years.
