Today people of a very important profession are celebrating their holiday. They will always be in demand. April 24th is Russian Dentist Day. It is today that the Hieromartyr Antipas is venerated. He healed diseases, especially dental ones. And the Etruscans are considered the first dentists. They made teeth for humans from the teeth of various mammals back in the 7th century BC. Each person’s jaw structure and teeth size are unique, as are their fingerprints. My colleagues visited the regional dental clinic today and congratulated the doctors.

Thousands of patients come here for medical care every day. Everyone has different problems: putting a filling, crown or implant, restoring a damaged tooth, getting rid of inflammation. But the most unpleasant thing is the acute pain that is impossible to endure.

The help is really great, because, you know, toothache is unbearable. It also radiates to the head, and can also radiate to the lower jaw. Well, the quality is good.

57 doctors work here. These are dental surgeons, therapists, orthopedists. Some came from other regions. For example, one of the young specialists arrived from Stavropol. I didn’t choose my profession by chance

Umidbek Odilbek Ugli Sabirov, dentist-therapist, Yaroslavl Regional Dental Clinic:

“First of all, it’s promising, secondly, no matter where you go, you can get a job calmly, without problems. Always in demand, everywhere.”

Modern oral health treatments are constantly changing. Doctors try to make the process as comfortable, painless and effective as possible. Modern equipment and new installations also help provide better assistance. For example, an X-ray machine allows you to immediately send images to the doctor at your workplace. Each one is equipped with a computer. The ground floor has been renovated, now dentists work in bright rooms, and patients receive care in comfortable conditions.

Elena Drobysheva, chief physician of the Yaroslavl Regional Dental Clinic:

“People come to our government office with various problems and pain. It is necessary to have a broad horizon of clinical thinking, to identify this or that problem. This is a psychological level. A patient may come in with pain that has been going on for a week, and he is already nervous, and we need to help here and now.”

According to the management of the clinic, the institution welcomes university graduates every year, not only from Yaroslavl, but also from other regions. For this purpose, there is a program to support young personnel, including compensation for housing costs.
