Guests and residents of the Tunkinsky district were asked not to disturb migratory birds and not to burn dead wood. Photos of swans, along with a request, were posted in the regional group “Tunkheneyseeree zugaaldaya”.
– Dear Tunkin residents, take care of the birds in the spring. Don’t disturb them, let them live and rest in peace, don’t get close to them!
The group members asked not to burn last year’s grass and reeds in the Coymores. After all, this can destroy not only nesting sites, but also the migratory birds themselves.
Specialists from the Tunkinsky National Park supported the emotional impulse of the residents. They emphasized that during the nesting period, a frightened bird can leave the nest for a long time. Then the eggs or chicks will die.
– Young birds do not know how to fly in the first days. Parents look after their offspring for a long time, teach them how to get food and feed them, and protect them to the best of their ability, state inspectors explained.
Therefore, if you see a chick, it is better not to touch it and move away. You can touch him only if his life is threatened. For example, put him on a branch if he is attacked by a dog.
