A serious accident occurred in the dark from April 24 to April 25 on the A-108 highway in the Borovsky district of the Kaluga region. Several people were seriously injured and only a miracle saved them from death.
Eyewitnesses reported that a tire of a Lawn Next truck suddenly burst. The car flew off to the side of the road where the Daf truck was parked, writes the Typical Obninsk community on the VKontakte social network.
According to preliminary data, there were two men in the cab of the truck, both truck drivers. One was driving the car, the other was resting on a berth at the top of the cab.
Both were pinched. Rescuers pulled the driver out of the pile of crumpled metal without any problems. But the second one, who woke up from a terrible blow and found himself pinned in his sleeping place, was immediately removed by the Emergency Situations Ministry employees. They had to work hard to loosen the damaged parts of the cabin.
Previously, both truckers were seriously injured and hospitalized. Information about the accident in the Borovsky district is being checked and clarified.
