Deputies of the regional council heard the report of the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs for 2023.

In 2023, Alexander Babanov received about 350 complaints. As the Ombudsman noted, their number has remained constant for several years. This is due to a reduction in administrative pressure on business. Over the past 4 years, the number of control and supervisory activities related to the activities of entrepreneurs has decreased 10 times and reached three hundred.

Based on the analysis of appeals, the business ombudsman identified the main ones: aggravation of the personnel problem, rising prices for electricity supply and an overestimation of the cadastral value of property and the tax on it.

The Ombudsman also noted that in 2023, the tax service of the Lipetsk region was actively working to provide installment plans for tax payments. The measure helped entrepreneurs avoid getting into a difficult financial situation and maintain their business.
