In the final of the brain ring, which took place in the Yubileiny cultural center in the city of Ostrov, the team of students from the seventh school won. The regional newspaper “Ostrovskie Vesti” writes about this.

The final of the brain ring was held at the Yubileiny cultural center, in the organization and implementation of which employees of the youth department took part.

This time, two teams competed in an intellectual duel in the “Own Game” format – students from schools four and seven, whose parents, friends and school teachers came to cheer for them.

“The guys had a difficult task ahead of them. The polling stations had to answer 50 questions on physics, literature, sports, about the territories of the Pskov region and others. The schoolchildren also encountered questions from the “Pig in a poke” category, which always appeared unexpectedly for them. In one of these tasks, participants were required to name a medicine that was promoted by a character from the fairy tale about Pinocchio Duremar. The question turned out to be difficult for the guys. Despite the fact that both teams showed themselves and showed good results, the results were still summed up, and the winner was determined,” writes the regional newspaper.

The team from school No. 7 named after Vitaly Pushkarev won the intellectual game with a difference of 180 points. The winners were awarded a winner’s certificate and cinema tickets. Both teams also received commemorative figurines and “Answer in Seven Seconds” board games as gifts.
