Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukrainian intelligence has received information about possible Russian actions aimed at obstructing the Global Peace Summit, which is scheduled for mid-June in Switzerland. According to the president, he discussed this information on April 24 during a meeting with Ukrainian and foreign diplomats.

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian intelligence has “concrete data” that Russia “not only wants to disrupt the Peace Summit, but also has a specific plan on how to do this: how to reduce the participation of countries, how to act so that there is no peace even longer.”

“And we must counteract this together – we must work in unity for a just world,” the Ukrainian leader emphasized.

Vladimir Zelensky focused on the common interest of Ukraine and its allies in holding Russia accountable. The President expressed the opinion that the summit in Switzerland “gives us all a real chance for a just peace and restoration of the effectiveness of international law.”

The two-day conference in Switzerland is scheduled for June 15 and 16. The Russian side stated that it would not participate in the negotiations.

Earlier, President Zelensky said that some “representatives of the continents” would transfer the details of the peace plan developed in Switzerland to Moscow.

“Of course, some representatives of the continents will present this plan to Russian representatives. But only after we come to a common opinion, form a common point of view of countries that really want peace. Not just talk, but real peace,” Zelensky said.
