The level of education and sports training among schoolchildren in the Volga region is increasing

Thanks to the national project “Education”, “Growth Point” centers are opening in schools. They help children discover their talents and even try themselves in unusual professions.

For example, in the Privolzhsky district of the Astrakhan region, additional education classrooms with a special design and unique equipment were equipped on the basis of all 14 educational institutions. This allows schoolchildren to conduct more advanced experiments and experiments in physics, chemistry and biology.

“I would like to note that the quality of education has noticeably improved. I am very pleased that the children show great interest in modern technologies, attend classes with pleasure and, most importantly, show good results at the Olympiads“said the head of the district, Dmitry Mazaev.

In the Volga region, not only the level of education of children, but also their sports training is increasing.

Recently, the municipal stage of the GTO festival among schoolchildren was held here. 11 teams from different educational institutions in the region took part in fulfilling the standards.

Young athletes competed in various disciplines, such as forward bends, push-ups, pull-ups, long jumps, air rifle shooting, and also showed their capabilities in the 60 m and 1.5 km runs.
