This year, within the framework of the Federal program “Modernization of school education systems” of the state program of the Russian Federation “Development of Education”, a major overhaul of school No. 73 in the Kirovsky district and school No. 102 in the Leninsky district is being carried out. A total of 238 million rubles have been allocated for the repair of institutions. The issue of school renovation was discussed during the next visit to Saratov by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin.

Currently, contractors have already begun repairs. Students have been temporarily transferred to nearby educational institutions. In addition to construction and installation work, it is planned to update equipment and textbooks. Landscaping of the area will be carried out using local budget funds.

Contractors need to complete the work in early August so that the teaching staff has the opportunity to prepare schools by September 1, noted Lada Mokrousova.
