25th of April. Today, April 25, municipal services of Magadan are clearing the city of snow. 18 units of GELUD equipment and 32 KZH vehicles entered the line. Specialists are treating the road network with anti-icing materials and cleaning central and remote areas, the press service of the Magadan City Hall told MagadanMedia.
Motor graders cut off rollers and ice, widen the roadway on Zheleznodorozhnaya, Transportnaya, Brusnichnaya, Zaitsev, and Bazovaya streets.
Front-end loaders and dump trucks load and remove snow on Karl Marx and Lenin Avenues.
Combined road vehicles wash Lenin Avenue and Komsomolskaya Square.
Storm drains will be cleared of ice on Gagarin, Proletarskaya, Promyshlenny Proyezd, Ring 31, Staraya Veselaya. Engineering structures on Koltsevaya and Proletarskaya streets are also being washed.
Employees of the Green Management Plant perform daily tasks in assigned areas. They continue to clear access roads to catering facilities of educational organizations and container sites, remove ice from inter-block passages, and work in remote areas.
They remove the roll-up and sweep the sidewalks on Portovaya, Kolymskaya, Berzin, and Sandor Shimic streets.
Attention car enthusiasts! Due to the operation of municipal vehicles, it may be difficult to travel on Lenin and Karl Marx Avenues. Citizens are asked not to park personal vehicles on the route of public transport vehicles and not to interfere with the work of services.
