In the next 2-3 years, new sports facilities with swimming pools will appear in Voronezh, where you can go swimming, and perhaps even surfing, the Minister of Sports of the Voronezh Region Pavel Chibisov told reporters at a press conference today, April 24.
“In Voronezh there is not enough “water” not because there is not enough of it, but because there are quite a lot of people who want to visit pools and practice swimming, and this should make us happy,” says Pavel Chibisov. — If we talk about the immediate prospects, we were considering the appearance of a palace named after Sautin in our city, plus the possibility of building a swimming pool with 50-meter paths.
Pavel Chibisov clarified that this issue is still at the stage of being worked out – searching for land plots – however, there are already potential investors.
“I met with some, heard interesting proposals, for example, one such as integrating waves into the pool for surfing,” says Pavel Chibisov. — So that you can not only practice swimming, but also swim on boards. We’ll see whether it works out or not, but I can say for sure that in the next 2-3 years several swimming pools will appear in Voronezh.
