Due to large-scale floods this year in Orenburg, experts predict an increase in the number of mosquitoes.
The area of territories subject to cultivation will be increased accordingly this year.
The Orenburg administration entered into a contract with Dez-Service LLC for acaricidal and lauricidal treatment of territories. The main locations are located along the floodplain of the Ural and Sakmara rivers, as well as rural settlements that are part of the regional center.
Work is scheduled to begin on May 1. The total processing area will be approximately 50 km, taking into account the distance from the coastline of 50 meters in both directions. First of all, treatments will be carried out in places where the water has completely drained.
Organizations and enterprises of all forms of ownership located in the flood zone will also be involved in disinfestation.
Mosquito treatment work is scheduled to be completed by June 1.
