The Northern UGMS has published a review of the hydrological situation on the rivers of Pomerania.

Currently, no dangerous or unfavorable phenomena have been recorded on the rivers of the Arkhangelsk region.

On the Northern Dvina River, the head of the ice drift develops in the section between the village of Pukshenga and the village of Brin-Navolok (188-158 km of Arkhangelsk). In the period from 4:00 to 7:20, intense ice movement was observed in the area of the village of Krivoe (134 km from Arkhangelsk). The main ice drift is predicted to approach Arkhangelsk on April 25.

In Yemetsk at 8 o’clock the water level was 957 cm (unfavorable event – 1000 cm).

On the Vychegda River, in the section between the village of Fedyakovo and the city of Solvychegodsk, it is clean.

On the Onega River, the head of the ice drift develops below the village of Turchasovo.

On the Pinega River in the upper reaches there is rare ice drift; in the middle and lower reaches, preparations for opening take place.

Winter conditions remain on the Mezen River.

Editor’s comment.

It’s hard to believe that the ice drift will arrive in the regional capital tomorrow, because according to the data at 12, 16 and 20 hours on April 23, the situation was almost similar to what we have today. If the head of the ice drift has advanced, it has moved only slightly – at most ten kilometers, and we need to go about 170 more.
