Public transport in St. Petersburg was updated by more than 150 units in the first quarter. This was reported today, April 24, by the press service of the Transport Committee.
In particular, 98 buses were received for Passazhiravtotrans: 48 of a particularly large class and 50 of a large class. The Gorelektrotrans fleet was replenished with 9 trolleybuses and 30 trams. And 16 cars of the “Baltiets” model arrived at the metro.
The department added that city transport workers are now testing new models of equipment. Thus, the Vologda electric bus of the especially large class “Orion” produced by JSC Trans-Alpha and the Chinese electric bus of the large class Yutong continue to operate.
The KamAZ-6282 ONC electric bus with night charging, designed specifically for St. Petersburg, was also tested. And for custom transportation – a tourist bus model ANKAI A9HFF6124KA.
Comtrans added that testing of a large-class electric bus from the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant and a particularly large-class gas bus, model KamAZ 6299-40-Z5, are currently ongoing.
