A 47-year-old man received a prison term after brutally beating his acquaintance in Nizhny Novgorod, reports the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The tragedy occurred in an apartment in a building on Barents Street, Sormovsky district, in July 2022. During the conflict, a man beat up an acquaintance with whom he drank alcohol. The victim was taken with injuries to the hospital, where he died.
“The court sentenced the convict to seven years’ imprisonment to be served in a high-security correctional colony,” investigators said.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of Pervomaisk shot his own mother twice with a recurve bow.
