On April 23, the rector of the church in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod deanery of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese, Priest Pavel Moloshtan, visited a boarding home for war and labor veterans in the resort village of Green City.

In the prayer room of the institution, the priest gave communion to 19 people. Those who were unable to leave their rooms for health reasons were visited personally by Priest Pavel Moloshtan. The priest talked with the residents of the boarding house about the upcoming Orthodox holidays and wished God’s help to get through the rest of Lent.

On the same day, volunteers of the “Mercy” movement and participants of the center for creating an Orthodox family of the Nizhny Novgorod deanery visited the boarding house. At the request of the institution’s management, volunteers painted the batteries. The staff and residents of the boarding home thanked the volunteers for their help.

The spiritual and pastoral care of the boarding house is carried out with the blessing of Metropolitan George of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.
