The Tashanta and Tsagaannur checkpoints will be closed on the weekend of May 1, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 19, 23 and 26. On these dates it will not be possible to cross the Russian-Mongolian border. This was reported by the press service of the FSB border department for the Altai Republic.

According to the department, to travel across the state border at the Tashanta checkpoint, located in the Altai Republic, you must have a number of documents – for the right of entry (exit) of a citizen into the country, for vehicles, cargo, goods and animals. It is worth checking the validity period of the passport and the availability of pages.

It is prohibited to be on the territory of the checkpoint without documents or with expired and invalid documents. It is forbidden to make audio recordings, as well as video and photography of engineering structures and other objects, and the actions of employees. It is also prohibited to independently move around the territory of the checkpoint, change the parking location of a vehicle, board and disembark passengers, load and unload luggage and cargo without permission from border and customs officials.
