On May 1, the traditional craft season, already the sixth in a row, begins at the Masharov House museum. Museum guests will enjoy master classes, a fair, creative performances and performances.

Previous museum seasons were filled with dozens of lectures, exhibitions, master classes, interactive, entertaining and educational events. This year will be no exception.

The opening of the season on May 1 starts at 13:00 with a performance by the Lebre medieval music ensemble. At 14:00 the concert and game program “Holiday with Dolls” will begin, and at 15:00 the participants will enjoy the “Evening” – with dances, songs and folk entertainment.

The fairground will also open from 13:00. Also from 13:00 you can take part in a variety of master classes: dry felting, fusing, cold forging, gold embroidery, needlework, bone carving and others.

In addition, the first events of the sixth craft season will take place on May 3 and 4. So, on Friday, May 3, at 17:00 there will be a lecture on the topic “On embroidery and lace in urban costumes of the 19th-20th centuries.”

On Saturday, May 4, from 13:00, the fairground and master class areas will reopen. At 14:00 the exhibition “About Tues and Painting” will open; visitors will be able to take part in a tour of the exhibition with a master class. At 16:00 the children’s performance-concert “Parsley and other parsleys” from the theater “Kuzinykh Dolls” will begin, at which the viewer will be introduced to glove puppets.

All events, with the exception of master classes and performances, are held free of charge. The sixth craft season will work at the site of the Masharov House museum at the address: st. Lenina, 24. There are no age restrictions.
