Earth Day was celebrated by students at the Irkutsk College of River and Road Transport

25th of April. World Earth Day was celebrated by students at the Irkutsk Technical School of River and Road Transport on April 22. Its goal is to attract people’s attention to environmental issues and the well-being of our common home. Everyone can contribute to the preservation of the Earth’s ecosystem, writes IrkutskMedia news agency.

A competition of figures made from recycled materials was held at the technical school among 1st-4th year students. An original approach, creativity and teamwork showed excellent results and interesting work.

The jury, consisting of representatives of the ZePPelin design studio and technical school employees, determined 3 groups as winners: Tora-20-2, M-22 and SEU-23.

The management of the design studio gave the guys a trip to the landfill museum and a set of pizza. On April 27, children and teachers will hold a cleanup day on the territory of the technical school and the surrounding area.
